The print shop

The building on Baltimore printed posters for eighty years. When Ruby took the lease, the red ink stains were still on the floor. She kept them.

The first issue

In 2014 the studio was two chairs and a swatch book. Ruby colored only reds for the first year, mostly to prove a point.

Every formula is printed on a card, filed by shade and dated. Three hundred and forty reds so far, and counting.
