Is every website really one of a kind?
Yes. Every Velvet Chair website is designed and built from scratch for one business. The designs in our collection show the range of what we create — once a design is purchased it is marked sold, retired from the collection and never sold or reused again.
How fast can my website launch?
Most websites launch in about 3 days once we have your services, prices, photos and logo. Larger multi-page builds with shops or booking wizards can take a little longer; we give you a firm date before we start.
What can you integrate?
Anything. Booking apps like Vagaro, GlossGenius, Square, Booksy, Fresha, Boulevard and StyleSeat; Stripe or Square payments; gift cards; memberships; Instagram feeds; Google reviews; SMS reminders; email marketing; online stores; and custom tools built for your business.
Are the prices one-time?
Yes. The package price covers design and build. Domain and hosting are billed by the provider at cost (usually $10–$25 per month), or we can manage them for you.
Can I use my own photos and branding?
Absolutely — and we recommend it. Your real work sells best. Sample designs use licensed stock photography; your site features your chair, your clients and your results in your colors.
Will my site show up on Google?
Every site ships with search fundamentals built in: fast mobile pages, clean code, titles and descriptions, structured data for your business, a sitemap, Google Business Profile guidance and local keywords for your city.
Can I mix a design with a smaller package?
Yes. The package decides how many pages and features you get; the style is yours to choose. A Couture-level look can be scaled down to a one-page Starter site.
How do I pay?
Pick an available design and check out online, or email, call or text us. A 50% deposit starts your build and the balance is due at launch.
Who owns the website once it’s built?
You do. Your content, images and domain belong to your business.
Can you update my site after launch?
Yes. Send changes by text or email and we’ll handle them, usually the same day. Monthly care plans are available.
Do you work with stylists outside Texas?
Yes. Velvet Chair is based in Austin, Texas, and works with hair professionals across the United States.
What do you need from me to start?
Your services and prices, a few photos of your work, your logo if you have one, your booking link and your Instagram handle. We take care of the rest.
Is there a contract or long-term commitment?
No long-term contract. You pay a one-time package price; hosting and optional care plans are month to month.
