Three generations

Chapter 01

Two chairs, 1998

Clarence opened on Lee Avenue with two barber chairs he bought from a shop closing in Opelousas.

Chapter 02

The loc station

In 2002 his daughter Vivienne set up a loc station by the window. The waiting list started the same week.

Chapter 03

The second generation

Vivienne took over the loc side in 2008 and trained four locticians in the shop method.

Chapter 04

The third generation

Andre picked up the clippers at sixteen. His fades now have their own Saturday line.

Chapter 05

Seven chairs

The shop grew next door in 2018, adding a concierge corner, a coffee bar and a kids' chair shaped like a pirogue.
