Meet Wren

I went gray at twenty-nine.

My hair started turning silver at twenty-nine and I dyed it brown every three weeks for six years. The day I stopped, I learned how few colorists knew what to do with a woman who wanted her gray back.

So I became that colorist. I blend gray with lowlights and highlights so the line disappears, I tone silver so it never turns yellow, and I go at your pace. Some clients get there in one visit; some take a year. Both are fine.

Good to know

Questions, answered

How long does going gray take?

With blending, most clients feel finished in one or two visits. Growing out fully takes about a year.

Will my gray turn yellow?

Not with a silver gloss every eight weeks and a purple shampoo once a week.

Do I have to cut my hair short?

No. We blend instead of chop.

Can you strip old box dye?

Gently, yes. A strand test tells us how far your hair can go.

Do you only work with gray hair?

Mostly. I also brighten blondes who are starting to silver.

Is there parking?

A free public lot two minutes away.
