Our story

Gianna learned to mix color at eight years old, standing on a step stool in her grandmother's salon in Providence, Rhode Island.

Summers at her uncle's vineyard taught her patience, layering and how warm light changes everything — lessons she still uses at the color bar.

She opened Vine & Velour in a 1910 brick storefront on Grapevine's Main Street with one chair and a single tall window facing north.

Word spread about her reds. Today the atelier keeps sixty-two custom red formulas on file, each named after a varietal.
