Smiling woman with long verdigris-teal hair in a lilac blouse beside a sunlit window

Vivid color parlour · Central Avenue, Hot Springs

Hair the color of old copper roofs.

Mint, sage, seafoam, jade and verdigris teal, painted by hand in a restored bathhouse parlour with arched windows and spring water in every rinse.

Welcome to the parlour

Green is the gentlest way to be bold.

Odette fell in love with the green patina on Bathhouse Row's copper domes the week she moved to Hot Springs. A year later she opened a color parlour in an old spa annex on Central Avenue and set out to put that color in people's hair.

We specialise in the soft side of vivid: sage, mint, seafoam, jade and every shade of teal. Each color is mixed by hand, tested on a strand and rinsed with the town's own spring water, which happens to be very kind to green.

Odette's verdigris teal is the most beautiful color I've ever worn. It faded to a soft sea-glass and I loved every stage.

The experience

A parlour afternoon

Every sitting is slow on purpose.

  • Loose-leaf tea and cold spring water
  • Arched-window chairs with views of Central Avenue
  • A spring-water scalp ritual with every color
  • A handwritten aftercare card

Green grows. It softens, it deepens, it turns to patina. We mix our colors to age as beautifully as the rooftops on Bathhouse Row.
