Meet Renée
I know that first appointment.
My mother lost much of her hair in her fifties, and I watched her stop going to the salon because she couldn't bear to sit in the open. I became a stylist partly for her, and when I found toppers, I found my work.
My suite has a separate entrance and one chair. We talk first, privately, about what's happening and what you want back. Then I color, cut and fit a piece so it reads as your own hair, and I teach you to wear it with confidence at home.

Questions, answered
What is a topper?
A partial hairpiece that clips into your own hair at the crown or part line to add coverage where you're thinning. It is not a full wig.
Will anyone be able to tell?
Not when it's colored, cut in and fitted properly. That's my entire job.
Can I sleep or swim in it?
Toppers come off at night. With volume micro-links you can swim and sleep; I'll show you how to care for them.
Do you work with medical hair loss?
Yes, often, alongside your dermatologist or oncologist. I'm happy to talk with them if you'd like.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. Forty-five minutes, private, with no obligation to buy anything.
Do you take insurance?
I don't bill insurance, but I provide receipts for cranial prostheses that some plans reimburse.
