Fine-hair extensions · Downtown Ruston
For hair that's fine, thin, or just tired.
Light tape-ins, halo pieces and tiny micro-beads for fine hair that wants to look like more of itself. Nothing heavy, nothing that pulls.
less hair, more you. that's the whole idea.

Meet Nell
My hair is fine too.
I've had thin, flyaway hair my whole life, and I've been told by more than one stylist that extensions 'just won't work' on hair like mine. They were half right: heavy ones don't.
So I built a whole practice around light ones. Single tapes split in half, halos you can put on in thirty seconds, micro-beads no bigger than a sesame seed. I see clients in Room 4 above Park Avenue, one at a time, with coffee and the window open.

Kind words from the chair
Three stylists told me my hair was too thin for extensions. Nell used half-tapes and my ponytail is twice as thick. Nobody can find them.
I wear my halo to work and take it off at the gym. Thirty seconds. Best ninety-five dollars I've spent on my hair.
Room 4 feels like a friend's apartment. She talked me out of more length and into a better cut, and she was right.

Good to know
Questions, answered
Is my hair too thin for extensions?
Probably not, if the extensions are light enough. That's exactly what the free fitting is for.
What's a halo?
A piece of hair on a clear, adjustable wire that sits on your head like a headband under your own hair. No attachment at all.
Will tapes damage fine hair?
Not if they're the right size and moved up on time. I use half-tapes so the weight is spread thin.
Can I swim or work out?
With tapes and beads, yes. Halos come off for the gym and the pool.
Do you only work with fine hair?
Mostly. If you have thick hair and want big length, I'll happily refer you to someone who loves that.
What should I bring to my fitting?
Your hair down and clean, and a photo of how you'd like it to look on a good day.
