Meet Maeve
I was the girl with the triangle.
Every haircut I had growing up in Ponca City ended the same way: wet, thinned, layered like straight hair and dried into a triangle. I spent my teens flat-ironing it into submission.
Now I cut curls dry, one at a time, the way they'll sit when you walk out the door. Students, professors, ranchers' kids and grandmothers all sit in the same chair in Studio B, and every one of them leaves knowing how to do it again at home.

- No deposit for returning clients; first cuts hold with a card on Square.
- Cancelling
- Twenty-four hours to reschedule, or a $30 fee.

- Fifteen minutes late and we'll shorten the lesson, not the cut.

Questions, answered
Why do you cut dry?
Curls shrink and spring differently strand to strand. Cutting dry lets me see each one where it actually lives.
How should I come in?
Curls down, dry and product-free, styled the way you normally wear them. No ponytail, no bun, no flat iron that week.
Do you cut straight hair?
Waves, yes. Truly straight hair, I'll happily point you to someone great.
Can you fix heat damage?
I can cut out the worst of it and help the rest recover. Some ends just need to go, and I'll be honest about that.
Do you do color?
Glosses and tone refreshes for curls. For big lightening I send you to a colorist I trust.
What products should I buy?
Whatever works on your hair, from a drugstore or a salon. I'll show you what to look for, not what to buy from me.
