From a glass furnace to a color bar

Chapter 01

The furnace

Adaeze learned patience at a glass furnace in Denton: gather slowly, layer the color, and never rush the cooling.

The switch

In 2012 she traded glass for color, training under a Dallas colorist known for reds, and saw that warm hair needs the same care as hot glass.

The storefront

In 2015 she signed a lease on a 1920s brick storefront on Magnolia with tall north-facing windows and terrazzo floors.
