Cole spent eighteen months stripping paint, restoring the tin ceiling and wiring every Edison bulb himself.
A forty-foot walnut bar runs the length of the lounge — part waiting room, part bourbon bar, part town square.
Every barber trains on the straight razor for six months before shaving a guest. The towel cabinet stays hot from open to close.
Every visit ends the same way: a splash of bay rum, a firm handshake and a seat at the bar if you'd like to stay.
