Emancipation Avenue, 2019

Kiana opened the doors with three chairs, a borrowed sound system and a sign that said "Shrinkage welcome."

The tea

Hibiscus tea was Kiana's grandmother's recipe. Clients started asking for it before their appointments. Now we brew it daily.
