Meet Adaeze
I was born in Enugu and raised on a braiding stool.
My mother braided in our compound on weekends, and I learned to feed hair before I could write. When we moved to Arkansas in 2004, I was the only girl at school who did her own cornrows.
I opened my atelier off Dickson Street in 2013. I work with one client a day, I hand-blend every color, and I seal every end with care. You leave with a set that looks expensive from across the room and up close.

Booking policy

- Deposit
- A $75 deposit reserves your day and comes off the total.
- Cancelling
- Please give 72 hours’ notice. The deposit then carries to a new date.
- Running late
- I hold your chair for 30 minutes. After that, we reschedule.

Why only one client a day?
Because I do not want to look at the clock while I braid you. You get my whole day.
Is hair included?
Yes, synthetic pre-stretched hair, hand-blended to your color. Human hair for boho is quoted.
How should I arrive?
Washed, deep-conditioned and stretched. If not, I can do it for $45.
Do you do loc extensions?
Yes, after a free consultation, so I can check your hair and plan the length.
Can I bring a guest?
One guest is welcome. The atelier is quiet, so I ask that calls are taken outside.
How do I care for my set?
Silk scarf at night, light mousse weekly, and nothing heavy at the scalp. You leave with a card.
