Meet Rowan
I cut my first bowl with kitchen scissors.
I was fourteen in Corpus Christi, bored on a summer afternoon, and my best friend wanted a bowl cut like the drummer in her favorite band. It came out lopsided and she loved it anyway. I’ve been fixing and perfecting that cut ever since.
My chair lives in a converted garage bay on Hickory with a turntable, a crate of records and a roll-up door that stays open when the weather is kind. I cut everyone the same way: listen first, cut sharp, price by the haircut. Queer, trans and nonbinary folks are not a niche here — you’re the regulars.

- No deposit for cuts. Vivid color takes a $40 deposit.
- Cancelling
- Text me 24 hours ahead if you can’t make it.

- Fifteen minutes late and we trim the plan, not the quality.

Why is your pricing the same for everyone?
Because I price the haircut, not the person. A bowl cut is a bowl cut.
Do you do long hair?
Trims, sure. But short and sharp is what I’m best at.
Can I pick the music?
Yes. Pick a record from the crate or bring your own.
How often should I come in?
Undercuts every three weeks, everything else every five or six.
Can you bleach my hair for a vivid?
On short hair, yes. Book the vivid slot so I have time to do it gently.
Is it okay to walk in?
Sunday afternoons, usually. Text me first so you don’t ride over for nothing.
