Balayage studio · East Austin
Freehand balayage, bold dimension and blondes with backbone. Three colorists, one warehouse bay, zero beige consultations.
The bay
Raw Sugar lives in a roll-up-door bay on East Cesar Chavez with north light that doesn't lie. Every formula is mixed for your hair, painted freehand and checked at the door before you leave.
We say no to things that won't work and yes to things your last salon said were impossible. If that sounds like your kind of place, pull up a chair.

Dev told me my box-dye black would take two sessions, wrote the price down, and hit it exactly. I've never had a colorist be that straight with me.
The honey melt is the best my dark hair has ever looked. Zero orange, all glow — in Texas sun.
Loud music, cold brew and a balayage that grew out for five months. This is my salon now.
