Miles Ashby, Barber · tapers, waves & beard design

Meet Miles

I left the loud shop on purpose.

I spent eight years in a twelve-chair shop off Loop 323, and I loved the noise until I noticed my best work happened after closing, when it was just me and one client.

So I opened a private studio upstairs on Broadway. I play low music, I keep the coffee hot and I take my time on your edges. If you are training waves, I will give you a brush schedule and check your progress every visit.

Good to know

Questions, answered

How often should I come in?

Every two weeks for a skin fade, three for a taper, four if you are growing it out.

Can you help me get 360 waves?

Yes. I cut to your growth pattern and give you a written brush and durag routine.

Do you do enhancements?

Light ones, matched to your natural color, only when you ask.

Is the studio accessible?

There is an elevator in the building lobby.

Do you take walk-ins?

No, it is a private studio. Text me and I will find a gap if one exists.

What should I bring?

Just a photo of a cut you like, or one you never want again.
