Meet Mei
I measure twice and cut once.
My grandmother was a seamstress in Taichung and I grew up watching her chalk a line before every snip. When I started cutting hair in 2013, I realized a bob is just tailoring: weight, balance and a hem that sits exactly where it should.
Today I only book one client at a time in my suite off 15th Street. I cut dry to check the line, wet to build it, and check it again under daylight before you see the mirror. If your bob ever tips forward or flips out at the collar, come see me.

- A $30 deposit holds new-client appointments and comes off your cut.

- Please give me 24 hours to move or cancel.

- Ten minutes late and I may need to skip the blowout to keep your cut precise.

Questions, answered
Will a bob work with my thick hair?
Usually, yes. I remove weight from the inside so the line stays heavy but the shape doesn’t puff.
Do you cut wet or dry?
Both. I build the line wet and refine it dry, because that’s how you’ll actually wear it.
How often should I come back?
Every six to eight weeks for a sharp bob. The line refresh keeps you in between.
Can you cut curly hair into a bob?
I can, but I’ll cut it dry and be honest if a curl-specific cutter would serve you better.
Is the fringe trim really walk-in?
Text me first. If I’m between clients, come on up.
Do you do color?
Only glosses. For anything else I’ll send you to colorists I trust.
