Balayage & color house · Bayfront, Corpus Christi
Hand-painted balayage, deep coppers and cool, glassy brunettes — mixed under true-daylight lamps and booked late, when the bayfront goes blue.
The work
The house
Low Tide opened on the bayfront in 2014 for women who work all day and want their color done properly anyway. We open at eleven, close at nine, and save our best light for the evening — color-corrected lamps that read tone the way the sun does.
Five colorists, one long marble bar for mixing, and a playlist that gets slower as the night goes on. Expect copper that glows, blondes without brass, and brunettes with real depth.

I can finally get my color done after work without taking a day off. And it's the best balayage I've had in Texas.
Teagan's copper is unreal. It actually looks better at week four than week one.
My dark hair has never had dimension without turning orange. Jae-won did it in one session.
Moody lighting, great music, a glass of something and a consult that took my hair history seriously.
Grey blending that looks like I planned it. Nadia is brilliant and so calm.
