$80LGBTQ+ salon · Spring Street, Eureka Springs
A queer-owned salon in a Victorian greenhouse on Spring Street. We do botanical color, gender-free cuts and slow appointments under a glass roof.
I. The greenhouse
Wren found the old greenhouse in 2013: a rusting glass house behind a Victorian cottage, full of dead ferns and perfect light. Six months of glazing and scrubbing later it became the most beautiful salon in the Ozarks.
Eureka Springs has always been a refuge for people who didn't fit anywhere else, and we're built in that spirit. Every cut is priced by time, not gender. Every color is mixed for the person in the chair. Every appointment is long enough to talk.

Wren gave me my first short cut after coming out at 41. We talked for half an hour before the scissors came out. I felt completely seen.
Juniper's moss green is the most beautiful color I've ever had. It fades to sage, not swamp.
We eloped in Eureka and Sam did both our looks. Two suits, two very different haircuts, both perfect.
The scalp ritual under the glass roof in January is the most relaxing hour of my year.
Rosa taught me to love my curls. I finally threw out the flat iron.
Elias has the steadiest razor in Arkansas. Clean fade, great stories, no small talk unless you want it.
