Welcome, sweetheart
Two stylists, one marriage and a very gold room.
Ellis and June met behind neighbouring chairs in an Austin salon and got married in a Fredericksburg vineyard in 2014, the same year they opened Amberline. Their own wedding taught them how rare it was to find stylists who were simply glad for you.
Today the hair house is nine artists in a restored 1890s limestone building on Main Street with a gilded mirror in every station. We do everyday cuts, golden curls and warm color for the whole town, and on weekends we style the Hill Country's LGBTQ+ weddings from the getting-ready suite to the last dance.
