The district

Bluff City Naturals is a natural-hair studio built on one rule: work with the hair that grows out of your head, not against it. Shape cuts for afros, healthy installs for braids, patient care for locs.

Founder Tamara Greene opened the studio in 2016 in a former print shop on Young Avenue. The concrete floors stayed. So did the habit of printing every client's care routine on card stock.
